Why only first and second grade?                                  ¿Por qué solo primero y segundo grado?

Our school is uniquely designed for small group instruction. After years of teaching across various grade levels, I’ve learned that the first two years of a child’s education are pivotal. It’s during this time that students lay the foundation for becoming bilingual, and build essential skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
Unfortunately, I’ve seen many students reach 4th grade or higher without mastering basic skills—like multiplication tables, fluent and expressive reading, proper pencil grip, and the ability to write sentences with correct punctuation. In large classrooms, even the most talented teachers struggle to give every child the individual attention they need to succeed.
At our school, class sizes will be kept to a maximum of six students, ensuring each child receives the personalized support they deserve. Our mission goes beyond academics: we will nurture each student's self-esteem, help them discover their unique talents, and encourage them to use those talents to contribute positively to others.
We will also create an environment where learning is enjoyable, healthy habits are taught, and mornings begin with gratitude—expressed to God, our families, and our friends.

Nuestra escuela está diseñada específicamente para la instrucción en grupos pequeños. Después de muchos años de enseñar en diferentes niveles escolares, he aprendido que los primeros dos años de la educación de un niño son cruciales. Es durante este tiempo que los estudiantes sientan las bases para convertirse en bilingües y desarrollan habilidades esenciales en lectura, escritura y matemáticas.
Desafortunadamente, he visto a muchos estudiantes llegar al cuarto grado o niveles superiores sin haber dominado habilidades básicas, como las tablas de multiplicar, la lectura fluida y expresiva, el agarre adecuado del lápiz, y la capacidad de escribir oraciones con la puntuación correcta. En aulas con muchos estudiantes, incluso los maestros más talentosos tienen dificultades para dedicar el tiempo necesario a cada niño.
En nuestra escuela, las clases se limitarán a un máximo de seis estudiantes, lo que garantizará que cada niño reciba el apoyo personalizado que merece. Nuestra misión va más allá de lo académico: fomentaremos la autoestima de cada estudiante, ayudaremos a que descubran sus talentos únicos y los alentaremos a utilizar esos talentos para contribuir positivamente a los demás.
También crearemos un ambiente donde aprender sea divertido, se enseñen hábitos saludables y comencemos nuestras mañanas con gratitud, expresada a Dios, a nuestras familias y a nuestros amigos.

HYBRID SCHOOL SYSTEM
Ages 6 to 8
1st and 2nd Grade

Full Spanish Immersion with a focus on traditional values, nutrition, emotional intelligence, and God in an open and inclusive manner.
There are three things that have helped my daughters thrive, GOD+LOVE+NUTRITION.
When I began incorporating these into my teaching, I felt I was living and working with purpose. 
Kids who speak more than one language will be given opportunities to connect, love, and understand a bigger world. We can help them learn Spanish in addition to understanding English.
We also emphasize healthy nutritious meals and snacks during the day. This helps children maximize their cognitive abilities. We want our students to be healthy so they can learn to the best of their abilities. We want to empower them and their families; we want to team up with you! Wouldn't it be cool if kids were drawn and excited to eat their veggies? Kids are smart! When they begin learning the healing powers of foods, they will begin to choose those for themselves. 
I also learned about a fabulous therapy called DIR (Developmental Individual-difference Relationship-based model). This helped me develop a unique curriculum that gets kids excited to learn. And it showed me ways to help children gain confidence and connect with their world in a meaningful way.
We make sure our teachers can communicate at a high level of Spanish. They are able to teach proficient and grammatical Spanish as accepted by the Real Academia Española. If a kid learns Spanish incorrectly, unlearning it later in life to pass a test or to properly communicate in a business setting will be a struggle.         

SISTEMA ESCOLAR HÍBRIDO

Inmersión total en español con un enfoque en los valores tradicionales, la nutrición, la inteligencia emocional y Dios de una manera abierta e inclusiva.
Hay tres cosas que han ayudado a mis hijas a prosperar: DIOS+AMOR+NUTRICIÓN.
Cuando comencé a incorporarlas en mi enseñanza, sentí que estaba viviendo y trabajando con un propósito.
A los niños que hablan más de un idioma se les darán oportunidades de conectarse, amar y comprender un mundo más grande. Podemos ayudarlos a aprender español además de comprender inglés.
También enfatizamos las comidas y refrigerios saludables y nutritivos durante el día. Esto ayuda a los niños a maximizar sus habilidades cognitivas. Queremos que nuestros estudiantes sean saludables para que puedan aprender lo mejor que puedan. Queremos empoderarlos a ellos y a sus familias; ¡queremos hacer equipo con usted! ¿No sería genial si los niños se sintieran atraídos y emocionados por comer sus vegetales? ¡Los niños son inteligentes! Cuando comiencen a aprender los poderes curativos de los alimentos, comenzarán a elegirlos por sí mismos.
También aprendí sobre una terapia fabulosa llamada DIR (modelo de relación basado en diferencias individuales del desarrollo). Esto me ayudó a desarrollar un plan de estudios único que entusiasma a los niños por aprender y me mostró formas de ayudar a los niños a ganar confianza y conectarse con su mundo de una manera significativa.
Nos aseguramos de que nuestros profesores puedan comunicarse a un alto nivel de español. Pueden enseñar español competente y gramaticalmente correcto, tal como lo acepta la Real Academia Española. Si un niño aprende español incorrectamente, desaprenderlo más adelante en la vida para aprobar un examen o comunicarse correctamente en un entorno empresarial será una lucha.

Application Process / Proceso para Ingresar

We want to make sure we are a good fit for your child. This is why we will have a trial class where your kids will be able to interact with other kids, do mini lessons in person and online. 
Two hour in person session+40 minute online session with materials included for only $45
You will get our feedback and if your child enjoyed the classroom setting, then we will invite you to save your spot. We will have only 6 spots for 1st Graders and 6 spots for 2nd Graders.

Queremos asegurarnos de que somos una buena opción para tu hijo. Por eso, tendremos una clase de prueba donde tus hijos podrán interactuar con otros niños y hacer mini lecciones, tanto en persona como en línea.
Sesión de dos horas en persona + sesión de 40 minutos en línea con materiales incluidos por solo $45.
Recibirás nuestra retroalimentación y, si a tu hijo le gusta el ambiente de clase, te invitaremos a reservar tu lugar. Tendremos solo 6 lugares para 1º Grado y 6 lugares para 2º Grado.
